  • Prepare the Batter:
    • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 3 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
    • Make a well in the center and pour in 1 1/4 cups of milk, 1 egg, and 3 tablespoons of melted butter. Mix until smooth.
  • Preheat the Pan:
    • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray.
  • Cook the Pancakes:
    • Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
    • Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes.
    • Flip the pancake and cook the other side until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes more.
  • Serve:
    • Serve pancakes warm with your favorite toppings, such as syrup, butter, fresh fruits, whipped cream, or chocolate chips.
